Liverpool Beat Tottenham 2-1 in Premier League Round 7, Salah Scores the Winner.

Liverpool have secured all three points after a thrilling match against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on Saturday evening. The Reds took control of the game from the off and were soon leading thanks to a stunning strike from Sadio Mane.

Tottenham had their chances early on but could not find the back of the net as Liverpool dominated possession and created numerous scoring opportunities. However, it was Mane who struck first, finishing off a fine team move to give Liverpool the lead.

The hosts continued to press for more goals, with Roberto Firmino and Divock Origi both having efforts saved by goalkeeper Hugo Lloris. But it was Mane who finally put Liverpool ahead in the second half when he found space on the edge of the box and slotted home from close range.

Tottenham then came out fighting and levelled through Son Heung-min's well-taken goal. However, Liverpool responded quickly with Salah scoring the winner with a curling shot from outside the box. It was a brilliant piece of finishing that left Tottenham struggling to respond.

The result means that Liverpool remain top of the Premier League table, five points clear of Manchester City. They will now turn their attention to their next fixture away to West Ham United on Sunday afternoon. Meanwhile, Spurs will look to bounce back from this defeat as they host Everton on Monday night.
