Paris Saint-Germain beats Strasbourg in Ligue 1, Mbappé scores two goals

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have secured another victory in the Ligue 1 with a 2-1 win over Strasbourg at Parc des Princes on Sunday evening.

The match saw PSG dominate possession and create numerous chances throughout the game, but it was Mbappé who ultimately delivered the decisive blow for his team.

In the 75th minute, the French striker received a pass from Neymar and unleashed a powerful shot that found the top corner of the net to give PSG the lead.

Strasbourg were not to be outdone, however, as they responded well and equalized just three minutes later through a goal from Djalma Conceição.

Despite this setback, PSG refused to back down and continued to push forward, with their next goal coming courtesy of a fine finish from Angel Di Maria in the 84th minute.

With the score tied at 2-2, PSG were given a chance to seal the victory when they had a penalty awarded against Strasbourg in the final seconds of normal time. However, the French side failed to convert the spot-kick and the game went into extra-time.

In the extra period, PSG showed their class as they dominated possession and created several more chances before finally securing the victory with a stunning goal from Kylian Mbappé in the 116th minute.

The win means that PSG now sit atop the table with a perfect record, while Strasbourg remain in second place after their defeat.

Overall, it was another dominant performance from PSG, who continue to show why they are considered one of the best teams in Europe.
