Borussia Mönchengladbach Draws 1-1 with VfL Wolfsburg in Bundesliga; Bensebaini Scores, Wolfsburg Rebounds

Borussia Mönchengladbach drew 1-1 with VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga on Sunday night.

The match was played at the Allianz Arena and saw Borussia Mönchengladbach come out on top thanks to a goal from Sven-Göran Eriksson in the 69th minute.

In the other game, VfL Wolfsburg had to settle for a draw after a goalless draw in the first half.

Sven-Göran Eriksson scored the winner in the 74th minute for Borussia Mönchengladbach, while Christian Eriksen headed home a penalty kick in the 82nd minute for Wolfsburg.

Both teams have struggled this season but both have shown some promising signs so far in the league.

Eriksson's goal came just before halftime as he headed the ball into the back of the net from close range after being played through by his teammates.

The goal proved to be crucial as it gave Borussia Mönchengladbach the lead and put them ahead of their rivals in the standings.

Wolfsburg were also able to take advantage of the opportunity and equalize when Christian Eriksen headed home a penalty kick in the 82nd minute.

The two sides will now look to continue their form and progress towards the next round of the UEFA Champions League.
